Hash House Harriers

The Hash House Harriers (abbreviated to HHH, H3, or referred to simply as hashing) is an international group of non-competitive running, social clubs. An event organized by a club is known as a hash or hash run, with participants calling themselves hashers or hares and hounds.

SUSPENSION



Chiam Kooi Keat a.k.a. Che Meh is suspended for 3 months w.e.f. 1st May 2013 for bringing disrepute to the Association on 26 January 2013 at Pokok Sena.

He is not allowed to take part in any hash activities under the AS3H banner for the said period. If there is any infringment he’s membership will be terminated with immediate effect.

Lee 52, Sayur Meng and Luan Chu Lai were put on ice for failing to join the trail after breaking the check at RUN 1852 on 9-03-2013 at Bukit Wang.

ON SEX’S CORNER



(1)         The Committee has stopped guesting for non-hash members for one fiscal year until the next AGM. No one is allowed to bring non hash guests for the said period.

(2)         Fah Hai, Sui Yee and Ah Peow have been temporarily removed from the hareline due to health reasons. The trio will not pay monthly subscription. They will pay RM40.00 for one year like the Outstation Members. Once they are well and return to be active, then they will have to pay monthly subscription.

(3)         On ! On! is at 6.00p.m. Anyone who goes on the trail before 6p.m. the run will not be recorded. If the said member stays on until the circle is over, the run will be recorded and he will have to sit on ice.

(4)         The Committee decided that no member can use the club facilities or logo for personal use. They must get the permission of the Committee to use its facilities or logo. The logo cannot be printed on any individual’s clothings.

RESOLUTIONS TABLED AT THE 34TH HHH AGM



The  following resolutions were tabled at the Annual General Meeting and the House decided as follows:-

1.                 Those members who attend the AGM have to accept the post if nominated and elected by the members. The House unanimously disagreed with the proposal.

2.                 The Committee should send the monthly newsletters to the members who are not present at the runsite when it is distributed. The House agreed with the proposal.

3.                 The Mug Run should be scrapped due to high cost. The House unanimously disagreed with the proposal and requested the Incoming Committee to look into the matter.

3.1      The Committee decided that for normal runs, the mug will be given for every 100 runs achieved. For Outstation Runs, it will be given to those who achieve 20, 40, 60 runs and so on. (Every 20 runs)

4.                 AS3H members who bring non hash members to participate in International / Regional / Outstation Runs or functions be fined 2 crates of beer.

4.1      The House unanimously disagreed with the proposal and if there is any infringement, RULE 6.2 of the AS3H CONSTITUTION and STANDING RULE NO.17 will be executed.

5.                 The President (Grandmaster) can hold the post for two consecutive years only. The House unanimously disagreed with the proposal.

6.                 Those who have been members of the club for 15 years and have attained the age of 70 years, the subscription dues be reduced by 50%. The House unanimously disagreed with the proposal.
